Welcome to KashifPasta.com. Thanks for coming along, but I know you most likely have a pretty big question about all this - who is Kashif Pasta?
First things first, yes - Pasta is my real last name. Moving on…
I am a 18 year-old Muslim film-maker from the suburbs of Vancouver, Canada. I live in a city called Surrey, where I co-founded and run a school-district wide film festival for high school students every year, Montage.
I’ll be adding more detail to this page later, but here are the important bits:
I’ve loved film for as long as I can remember. I started making simple little videos around age 8, and my first digitally shot + edited video at age 13. That’s around the time that I started my media production company, mkpmedia.
Since then I’ve done a bunch of shorts and ads, including the award-winning 48 hour film competition projects Open Doors, and the most recent, Like a Soapbox.
